Apple's New iPads

The next, great generation of iPads has landed, and as usual, they’re revolutionizing the world of tablets. Last month Apple announced the release of both the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3. Two of the most anticipated updates to both the Mini and Air are the addition of Touch ID and the new gold finish. Touch ID allows users to unlock their device, make App Store, iTunes, and iBooks purchases, all using their fingerprint. The new gold finish makes these iPads the most beautiful yet, but don’t let appearances fool you.
Both the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 also deliver in performance. While not too many changes were made to the iPad Air 2’s physical design, it is 18% thinner and weighs a mere 0.96 pounds. Being the thinnest iPad ever doesn't mean performance was compromised. With a display resolution of 2048x1536, 3.1 million pixels, and a new antireflective coating, you won’t be able to look away. A fast iPad is a powerful one and the Air 2 has a 40% faster CPU, 2.5 x faster graphics, 64 bit architecture, and up to 10 hours of battery life. Wifi and LTE also got a lot faster allowing you to access the things you love twice as fast. The iPad Air 2’s front and rear facing cameras also got an upgrade allowing them to shoot slow motion and time lapsed video, panorama, and burst mode. The iPad Mini 3 also comes equipped with touch ID and in the new gold finish but otherwise remains unchanged.
