New & Improved CRM Software for Business - Daylite 4
MarketCircle has unveiled a new version of Daylite, the CRM (Client Record Management) solution that small and medium sized businesses rely on to manage their customer information. Daylite has always been a very good product. The improvements to the new version, Daylite 4, are significant and in our opinion move this piece of CRM software into a “must own” category for companies that need to manage customers and sales processes.
The user interface is simplified and less cluttered. The home page has easy access to tasks like linking, searching and filtering. There are also convenient drop down menus that include all of the major categories you may need. When you need more detail, a simple “slideover” can be used. That means you can access pertinent information with a swipe rather than by opening additional windows.
Many searches now occur quietly in the background even when the system is performing complex queries. There’s also a new Quick Find feature that shows your results as you type. You can create ad-hoc filters in list views at any time and searches can now be quickly and easily saved to a “smart list”. Tasks can be linked to specific stages in project pipelines, or to appointments, notes and emails.
You can also create customized forms in this new version. These forms then seamlessly integrate into the rest of Daylite. You can view and sort by forms, which allows you to access and manipulate the data in forms just as if that information was initially a part of Daylite.
Daylite smoothly integrates with other native OS X and iOS contact management apps. Your Daylite contacts can be shared with Contacts (OS X and iOS), and your Daylite calendar can be accessed through Calendar (OS X and iOS).
Daylite Mail Assistant, a plugin for OS X Mail, integrates your Daylite database with email. From Mail you can add email correspondence to contacts, projects and events in Daylite for future reference.
Daylite is a multi-user database environment so multiple users can access the data simultaneously. Remote access to the database has been significantly improved with Daylite 4, so users can reliably access Daylite from their computer or iOS device using Daylite’s iOS Apps.
