Apple’s iBooks are known for their stunning design and with the iBook Author app, you can publish your own beautifully designed ebook. iBooks Author gives you several great tools that make creating an ebook simple and easy. First, start by picking one of the many templates, available in both landscape and portrait view along with templates designed just for cookbooks and photography books. Adding the content is simply dragging and dropping both Pages documents along with text from Microsoft Word, iBooks will let you choose the page format. While iBooks Author is a great tool, it does have its disadvantages. If you create your ebook using iBooks Author and publish it on the iBooks store, that is the only place that your book can be sold. Your book will not be readable by Windows or Android devices.
