New Cranston IT Employeee Creates Custom Apps for Business

Topher has done just about everything in an IT department including development, data analytics, database management, network administration, and hardware administration. One of the aspects he likes most about his new job is being able to flex his creative muscles in problem solving.
“Being able to sit down and focus on creativity is great,” he said.
Topher hit the ground running when he started at Cranston IT in late August, quickly beginning work on the development of a project management system for the construction of new stores. The client needed a way to keep track of all the dates and information for each specific construction project, such as specific square footage and contact information, to see it through to completion.
When he’s not working in front of a computer, Topher can often be found playing table top games. Two of his favorites are Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer 40k. He’s also an avid soccer fan and enjoys building Lego sets with his young sons, ages 2 and 5.
Though his full name is Christopher, he’s been called Topher since birth.
“My parents have called me Topher since the day I was born. That way, when I got to 18, if I didn’t like it I could go with Christopher.”
